The transformation of Bayview Village continues to take shape, as QuadReal Property Group’s North Block development moves from excavation to vertical construction. A crane has now been installed on site — marking a major milestone in the evolution of this mixed-use community at Bayview and Sheppard.

Designed by Giannone Petricone Associates, and Turner Fleischer Architects, the North Block will feature a 21-storey residential tower alongside a pair of eight-storey mid-rise towers and new street-front retail. Together, forming part of a broader plan to reimagine Bayview Village into a vibrant, pedestrian-oriented community that integrates seamlessly with the surrounding neighbourhood and Bayview subway station.

Below ground, a three-level parking structure has already been completed following months of shoring and excavation, setting the stage for above-grade construction to accelerate in the coming months. Once complete, the North Block will deliver approximately 430 rental homes, including 14 affordable units, as well as new retail and public realm improvements along Sheppard Avenue and Bayview Avenue.
